Sliding shutter maintenance

Under normal circumstances FlexiGlide shutters require very little maintenance. However, there are a few simple things that should be done regularly (we suggest every 3 months) to keep your shutter in perfect shape:

  1. Remove any dirt or debris from the top track, floor sockets and pocket door.
  2. Lubricate rollers and track (some WD40 works fine).
  3. Visually inspect your sliding shutter for any damage and contact us if you suspect any problems.

You can safely clean your FlexiGlide shutter with a damp rag and a non-abrasive cleaner.

Annual servicing

We recommend you have your shutter serviced once a year. Regular servicing keeps your sliding shutter working properly and increases its lifespan.

In the unlikely event anything goes wrong with your sliding folding shutter, we offer a 24/7 national emergency repair service.
